UNSTOPPABLE
JOURNEY OF MODI MAGIC
Today
in every nook and corner masses are shouting Modi-Modi. People are anxious to
know how this are ordinary young boy who started his carrier as tea-vendor,
reached to the highest office of Prime Minister of India?
The
ruling opposition was criticizing in for his ordinary birth raising queries can
a tea vendor become the Prime Minister? If we see in biblical perspective when
Jesus Christ the founder of Christian faith, in the beginning His ministry in
Galilee the contemporary Jews of his time raised the question of how the son of
carpenter can become the King of Israel. They too murmured “are not his relatives
dwell with us.” Modi’s fate and circumstances were quite similar.
Narendra
Damodar Das Modi was born on the 17th September 1950. The same year
in which India became a sovereign democratic republic. His birth was simple and
his growth as a child was under tough circumstances. In his early childhood he
was influenced by his namesake “Narendra” who is popular as Swami Vivekanand. This
nationalist inspiration drew him closer to Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad
and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from where he learnt patriotism and nurtured
leadership qualities as youth leader and R.S.S. activist.
Slowly
but surely his journey began and controversies became a part of his life,
probably what Narendra Modi is today, is partly because of his enemies and
critics. Enemies, in order to pull him down made Modi stronger, sharper,
tougher and firmer.
They
carved Modi into a gigantic ultranationalist leader. One Australian lady has
well said that probably divine grace on Modi helps him to conquer each shady
controversy like a true winner. If we peep into his life the whole nation has
experienced that controversies follow Modi. Just as Churchill said in his
famous speech that “We Englishmen speak English and the grammar follows us.” In
the same way Modi proved unstoppable and his enemies were compelled to submit.
In
Gujarat, a stalwart like Keshubhai Patel emerged as Modi’s arch enemy along
with many more contemporary leaders, party and parivar workers but Modi moved
on fearlessly. He learned from Rigved the philosophy of “Chairaivati-Chairaivati”
which became the keynote of his life notation. Those words inspired him to move
onward and forward relentlessly without stopping.
During
his very first innings as Chief Minister, the Godhra Burning Train Scandal took
place on 27th February 2002. The Kar sevaks returning from Ayodhya,
the birth place of Lord Ram were attacked by a religious militant group and 59
innocent lives could not see the morning light as they died. This cowardly and
ghastardly act of cowardice was reacted upon and in retaliation another carnage
took place killing approx 180 people. Both the incidents are deplorable but
focus was shifted to reaction and the action part was ignored. Though reason
demanded condemnation of both, all the secularists started criticising Modi and
demanded his resignation and Modi as true democrat respected their sentiments and
resigned.
Under
Section 356 Constitution of India the President Rule was imposed and fresh polls
were announced and amidst all criticism and oppositions Modi reemerged as
winner by winning 127 seats out of the total 182 seats in Gujarat Assembly. Modi
proved his mettle and law of land established that Modi has no role in the
Gujarat violence.
It
is worth mentioning that after the year 2002 the history of riots was never
repeated in Gujarat, this is due to the good governance of Modi. Despite the
facts that recently in Uttar Pradesh where the Government of Samajwadi Party is
ruling the state, over 30 instances of communal violence have taken place in
less than one and a half year of Samajwadi Party rule.
We
can deduce that the rule of Modi is the rule of law. He has proven his mettle
as strong administrator and is emerging as an iron man of India. He has made
Gujarat vibrant in all areas. In the field of agriculture wonders have taken
place and the deserts are turning into fruit gardens with his scheme of Krishi
Mahotsava. He has demonstrated that scientific experiments of labs can be
smoothly translated and transferred to agro fields of marginalised and poor
farmers.
His
approach to development is an integrated one. He knows that water is needed for
agro needs as well as for industries. So under “Sujlam Suflam” scheme,
integrated water development made water grid connecting the state water
resources, it also stopped the wastage of water as well.
It
is worth noticing that wailing Narmada River has become a picnic spot. Families gather around its shores for social
get togethers. Earlier Narmada was known for its devastation. It is a lesson
for the whole Country. If Narmada can become bastion of prosperity why not
Ganges, Ghagra, Sharda and Saryu. These rivers can be inspired to write story
of development instead of destruction. This is specially needed to be emulated
in U.P., Bihar and Bengal where floods have become annual events.
On
the industrial map of India we see that the Gujarat is the first choice of
multinationals Japanese brands like Suzuki have shifted from Congress ruled
Haryana to Gujarat. It is because of better law and order conditions. Peace is
the precondition of prosperity. Modi’s rule has proven this, time and again.
This is the reason why Modi is the first choice of industry. The dream project
of Tata’s Nano is shifted to Gujarat. Tata is known for its ethical business
values. Business is attracted to Gujarat because Modi is the magnet attracting
all industrial houses to throng Gujarat.
The
youth of India has found its role model in “Hero Modi”. across all over India
from Kashmir to Kanyakumari youth of India see him as their icon. He has dreams
and he has the capacity of realizing those dreams as a hero, on the earth of
reality, he shows indomitable spirit of India, a fighting spirit against all
odds. As a nation, Indians feel secure under his leadership. China cannot
frighten us, Pakistan cannot dare to repeat folly of intrusion. American cannot
dictate India on any policy issue. People of India foresee mighty dollar
getting tamed under Modi’s rule.
On
his 63rd birthday the nation is taking a sigh of relief. It has
found an Arjun to lead and win forthcoming battle of ballets to end the misrule
of Congress led India.
Political
spectators are trying to foresee future of Modi’s rule. How polity will move?
How economy will function? How India manages its foreign affairs with the
neighbours? How China will react? All these questions will be best answered by
time.
